EmeritusLiving is a platform created exclusively for retired individuals. It is a combination of topics that are important to you, such as Health, Investments, Technology and Volunteering which enable you to live an active lifestyle.

Who we are and why this is so important to us

We are a team based in Chicago, Illinois. We were all raised in the Chicago-land area and love it. We have an innovative team with a blend of financial, technical and marketing backgrounds. Most importantly, we are passionate about retired individuals and here is why:

Our parents are retired professionals who, like you, used to work hard every day of their lives until the day they retired. At first it was very much relaxing and stress free, until about a month later where they would basically just sit in front of the TV and flip through channels. Like anyone, they got bored of this daily routine and wanted something more to do.

We wanted to help, so we asked them what they wanted to do. After a long talk, we understood that the key to a happy retirement is not just sitting around but still being active and doing what you love. And that is howEmeritus Living was born and is here to help not only our parents, but their friends and our communities as well.

What Makes us Different

We have activities, literature and articles relevant to your interest in one central place that is easy to find. Our design emphasize is primarily on making the site simple, organized and easy to navigate. That is why we have the innovative design of using icons in the navigation bar. We also make sure that each section is properly divided so you can go right to what you are looking for. Finally, we make sure to include videos and examples for all the articles.
